As a Hong Kong Chinese, I was raised in a culture that mandates fresh food, expertly prepared every day. To this hearty foundation add flavorings from the places I have lived - exotic spices from the melting pot of Singapore, hearty American taste with a strong dash of Italian zest from New Jersey, and Spanish gusto balanced by Catalan sensibility from Barcelona.
